2: Carving Mount Rushmore
If you’ve ever had the opportunity to see Mount Rushmore in person then you can understand the size and grandeur of it. Most of us have only seen in in pictures or movies and it isn’t easy to get a good perspective on how massive of a structure it is. Keep in mind that Mount Rushmore was carved by actual people. This picture was shot back in 1937 while the workers were carving the head of George Washington. If you look under his nose you can see some of the workers to get a feel for just how big this is. Remember, it’s carved into the side of a mountain!
