1. Eric Clapton

Clapton’s biggest proof of his greatness is that he is the ONLY three-time inductee to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. He is never absent when respectable bodies are naming the greatest guitarists of all times.
This is not surprising as Eric was raised in a musical household. On his 13th birthday and by the time that Rock and Roll has exploded onto the world, Eric was expelled at school because of too much guitar-playing and blues-listening.
His song “Tears in Heaven” is forever etched in the world and was written following the death of his son Conor in 1991.
