Some people only grab two or three days worth of supplies when hitting the stores to hunker down during a hurricane. But that’s going to leave you short! Instead, you need to shop for at least 7 days worth of supplies.
Not only because you want to be able to be prepared just in case you have to take in extra people, but because you may be stranded for longer than two or three days if flood waters rise.
